We are happy to announce the scholarship winner of 2013 edition is Ana Catarina Pinho from Portugal with a project about city suburbs landscape Broken Ground. Talking about her work Pinho says:
My idea of borderline is directly connected to people and how their conceptions and behavior about territory and possession originates separation, misunderstanding and conflict. So I used portraits of the suburbia inhabitants to represent the psychological border that divides space and people.
Pinho’s work has been selected for the accurate study of the subject, good theme development and visual coherence.
We would like to thank everyone for interest and participation and will be happy to see you in Moscow!
